Purble Place is a collection of computer games designed for children and released by Microsoft in 2007 with the Windows Vista operating system. Consists of three different single-player mini-games, each of which is aimed at developing different skills.
Each game is controlled with the mouse. The player needs to click on various interface elements, drag and drop items, etc. There is no ability to change the difficulty level, however, each game has its own set of levels, which becomes more difficult as the user advances in them.
The first one is called “Purble Shop” and is a simulation of a candy store. The user must help the chef to assemble a specific order of cakes, according to shape, color, icing and other parameters. The order becomes more and more difficult, which requires a quick response and a good memory.
The second game is “Comfy Cakes”, a puzzle game. The player needs to arrange the cakes in a certain order, following the prompts, in order to complete the complete image of the cake. The user will have to quickly analyze the task and make decisions in order to pass all the levels.
The third game is a memory puzzle. The user needs to open two identical cards at a time to find all pairs within a certain time. This is not just entertainment – it develops the ability to quickly memorize, and also improves concentration and attention.
